Default fuel pump compatability

will 5g civic fuel pumps fit 4g civics? I know that the fuel pumps have different ways of getting to them, 5g on top of tank, 4g drop tank, but on ebay they sell fuel pumps for 88-00 civics, but I don't know if I trust ebay.

the reason I ask is because I want to buy a fuel pump from d16z64life, and I'm not sure if I can use it.

I dont see why it would not fit, honda have a good way of matching parts, or maybe you can use a visual like compare the picture to yours if the look the same it works, I uses a 2000 si pump in my 95 ex until I changed it to a walbro, now I have two extra 95 pumps interested, in one?

I think that the 5th and 6th gen pumps would be much more similar since they are both accessed from the top of the tank, what makes me thing the 4th and other generation civic pumps are different is how you get to them, with 4th gens you must remove the fuel tank.
