Default axles are spinning in neutral?

I just installed a new motor and transmission (D16A6) and when I started it up, I noticed that my axles are spinning, not very fast though. I can stop them with my feet but they start back up again when I let go. The car is on jackstands. Did I install the tranny onto the block incorrectly? And they are spinning in a direction as to move the car forward. Thanks in advance.
