Default Anyone ever bought a block off eBay?
Suggest against it?

I haven't gone junk yard shoppin yet, but was wonderin if anyone has ever gone this route and has any regrets on it.

Dont know about ebay, but try this site

Appears as if they sell longblocks for decent flat-rate. Might be worth a look.

no, but I bought one from H-T that supposedly "ran perfect" and when I tore it down it had a spun bearing

I once bought a complete engine/trans if that counts.
Drove 4 hours to get it, got a great deal and it's still running strong 20k later. I think it's always a gamble.
