Ok I got all my turbo kit on with my 450's and vafc. well it smokes white!!! it never smoked before I put the turbo stuff on! wtf. Im always having ------- trouble with turbo ----! Im thinkin Im gonna sell everything and go nitrous unless someone can help me out here. actually I dont have the turbo hooked up to the charge pipe just test drove to make sure it didnt leak anything. I drove it with th 450's in but no boost so it ran like ----. why is the mother ****** smoking?

 

White is usually coolant...

 

It's like waving a white flag. It's saying I surrender ****** and put me back to NA.

 

I bet its your turbo. Most turbos that leak by smoke white. I assume its a used turbo. Get a restrictor. .065 or so.

 

if your turbo has coolant lines just bypass the turbo

if that stops the smoke then thats the problem, run the turbo till she dies

 

if you're considering giving up that easy, give up cars period.

Well on with my problems. this turbo is brandnew ssauto I know I know. but I figured it would last til I got a better one. and it has no coolant hookups.

 

Used turbo > New ssauto, both in price AND longetivity...

 

Is it internal wg, if so did you disconnect the wg so the turbo would not over spin?
