Hey, guys I don't post too much on here but i've been a member on here for awhile and just pretty much lurked around and sold some stuff. Well heres the story, I sold my crx and 3 hrs later the kid calls me and says the front wheel falls off and the spindle snapped and asked if he can get $1000 b/c he almost killed himself. I already told them the front rotors are kind of warped and to take it easy on the brakes. When you go high speeds and slam on the brake the steering wheel shakes violently. I am guessing he was beating on the car and slammin on the brakes but I am still clueless on how the front wheel comes off. I know I tighten everything and I even was driving the car 3 weeks prior to selling it. The actual buyer is a 15 year old and his 19 or 20 year old bro was the one driving it. I do feel bad but can he file some ---- against me ? What would you guys do about this situation? Well here are some pics of the car that i sold for $2500. Any inputs would be nice, thanks.

Well he's going to be calling me tommorow to see how much it will cost to repair it...I don't want to sound like an *** but I'm just goin to tell him straight up it's a damn used car...what's funny is that they we're going to go bring it street racing and they even told me but I guess they didn't make it to the street races

Looks like a good deal at 2500 but yeah its the buyers responsibility to go over everything before taking it out and getting on it (no matter what car it is)

yeah I hope you put his brother's name on the release of liability/pick slip.

you shouilda wrote a contract that stated all sales final no warranty expressed or implied, but you didn't hink of that.
