So long story short doin like 10-15 and the truck in front of me stopped short. I looked to the left or something at that moment so when I looked in front of me he was stopped and I tried but it didnt work out, lol. Its was a damn Explorer so it just peeled the damn hood right back. What do you nogs think, totaled or not and if not about how much do you figure?

 

They will probably total it. My civic had a bent fender, ripped the corner off my bumper, messed up hood, and a broke headlight and they said anything over $1200 they would total it.

doesn't look too bad too bad to fix...
but body shops will charge a bunch. labor and parts on:

• bumper
• fenders
• hood
• lights
• radiator support
• radiator

• condensor
• fans
• ??

If the car is a total loss, it would be a good buyback.

Insurance may probably total it if its older with high miles...

Looks fixable in my opinion, as long as the alignment hasn't been whacked too much, looks like chopping the front end out and replacing it with a whole new clip, or maybe just cut out all that front support ---- and fab up a frame with bigger wheel wells

I think about 2 buckets of bondo and that thing will look like new. 3 buckets if you want a sweet looking bumper.

 

is it really totaled, no, but it will cost more than the car is worth to fix





and 10-15mph wont do that much damage
