Default Thicker head gasket?????

One guy told me if I put a thicker head gasket on my B16a that the compresstion will lower...
Is that true??
He said do that and put a block guard in it...with some GSR cams and the car would def handle 10psi...with the tuning....
What do you guys think??

i think hes a ****** because even a d series can handle 10 lbs bone stock on an average turbo with good tuning. So yes a thicker HG will lower your compression, but you don't need it, and block guards that are just tossed in are the gayness.
