Default Charge Pipes (kinda homemade)

I used some clotheshanger wire and made templates. took those to the muffler shop and got these made for $10 for both!!

these are both sides of the IC.
Ill be going back to get the rest soon


anyways do u guys think 2 inch pipe is too small

2in is good.... im using 2.5 so its consistent with the IC and throttle body. what gauge pipe did they use?

It looks good except for around where your foot is... it looks like the machine pinched it a bit

but for 10 bucks thats a good deal

i used both 2' and 2.5'.......

from turbo to intercooler, i have 2', and from intercooler to TB i have 2.5 inch.......

you should be fine....

I thought about that a while back. It seemed like a pretty damn good idea IMO. The only bad thing is the only muffler shop around here doesn't have a mandrel bender.

Want me to have em bend u a set too?
They did it in like 30 mins I still have the templates.
It wokrs on the tyrus intercooler if u remove the windshield washer box

Hey those aren't mandrel bent! When they get into tight bends they start to cruch and crinkle together and they look like ----. Yours seem pretty good since the bends weren't too outrageous.

To be honest if you dont want ne bends what you gonna want to start hydroforming , because even madrel bends get small dents in the center of the curves.

this is call "PUSH BEND" my shop uses it and it's good enough.. for our projects, it's better than crush bend or no pipes... the boost flows such at cfm and 7-8psi, it's strong enough. i use this for my exhaust

can you explain this more? i dont see how it can be anything but mandrel or crushed.
