FS: type-r block girdle kit for b series + b18b head (45k miles)
selling my girdle kit from an integra type r. slap it into a b series to strengthen the hell out of the bottom end. i was going to build up an ls/vtec, but my plans changed since i moved out. this kit will come with:
-oil pan
-oil pickup
-windage tray
-block girdle
-all mains
-all bolts
windage tray is not pictured but is included

the b18b head was from a 98 integra with only 45k miles on it. i used the block, and didn't need this. it has no valve cover or fuel rail/injectors, but everything else is there including the intake manifold.
looking to get $170 obo for the girdle kit, and $100 obo for the head. lowball a little, but not trying to get raped on these.

yup, thats what this is for. the ls doesn't normally rev that high, and the bottom end can only handle it for so long. this girdle will keep everything sturdy so you can rev the crap out of it.

he's right. Also remember that the ITR crank is a few pounds heavier than a GSR crank (balanced differently). Otherwise the blocks themselves in their monolithic form are all very closely related in the B series motors. Of course the vtakz have oil squirters, but otherwise LS isn't far behind it.
