I just got all my main bearings from my local honda dealership about 2-3 weeks ago. they were also for a z6, go to a dealership or somewhere else because whoever you are talking to is pulling you're leg.

I work at a stealership too and HATE it.
Ever go to the training center in Troy? Carl down there is a douchebag.
Just use ACLs, I had 35k miles on a d16z6 I rebuilt, didn`t even plasti-gauge the ACLS bearings to check clearance and ran fine.

I've used clevite 77 bearing for main and rods.

got a good deal on them so what the hell.

after iput them in and plasi. them and all was acording to spec.

Hand crank the engine and the motor was little to tight for my likeing.

So I pulled the rod bearing and crank the motor without rods and it moved right.

Some I then swapped the rod bearing around a couple a time before I got it the way I want it.

I have year on them with countless auto-x and 15,000 miles with no problems.
