so i picked up a new civic 92 si 233k KM
i got it from my local insurance company auction for $1600 cdn with minor front end damage
the interior is really clean, dr side door sags a little (ill replace hinges from the old on) tail gate glass shocks need to be replaced (also get from old one)
there is a little rust all over and one bigger spot on the dr 1/4 panel, theres is some tears in the rear lca bushing (ill take some pics and ask you guys for an opinion soon)


how i got the car, bumper and broken head lights were in the back


rad support took all the damage (looks like rear ended a towing hitch)
saving the oem fender better fit then jober


1/4 panel rust


stripped ready for repair


my new JDM short ram


pulling old rad support out to bring the fender aprons back in and make spot welds more accessible


drilled out the spot welds and pulled it off


measured and fitted the new support to the rails and fender aprons


mounted the old rebar and ic for mock up on the bumper


and this is what it looked like before i went home last night
still got lots of work left but at least have a rought idea of what it will look like
still haven't decided weather im going to paint the front lip black or blue

Nice work. I'd say paint it all blue and leave the lip black. That's a nice color too.

my buddy had his crx painted a nice mazda 3 blue and it looked sick

ya striped it the first day and worked on it every day after work
wasting over a month waiting for some thing good on the auction was bad enough (sat at home bored out of my mind and tryed to get a buddy motivated to bosst his ef)
