Hello all, new to the site, just got setup with a turbo i bought off some friends, setup w/ their help over last wk-end.
Check it out, let me know what you think.
Built off a '98 Civic 4D --- D16Y7.

So Slow...Before Pic

Let the ppl. know


Swapped out the Y7 intake for the Z6


Finished...




Currently running around 9.5lbs of boost....any idea how much it might take before getting shreaded
Next upgrade = clutch.....although the stock is holding better then expected

def was a uhh fun? weekend. all in all setup looks great. you should get a close up of the oil rail I guess you would call it. that right there was a pretty freakin good idea by cory

Heck yes it was ---- ease of use rating = 10000

Converted fuel rail to an 'oil rail?' whatever you want to call it.

Bent up some break line up to feed the turbo, dont have to reach all up under the intake this way....while cory was at it mounted the electronic oil sending until on it...came out pretty nice.

Just running a chipped ecu...out of one of friends old setups...

I am from rochester. I also have a turbo D16y7. Going down to cincinnati to get a tune by blunder. Going to be using Ectune.

Friggen' nice....any pics of your setup?

I want to get min setup tuned as well at some pt. but need to get an iavc issue straightened out before i can do that....throughing a 14 code right now....
