Default JB weld on my intake?

well, i bought an AEM intake for next to nothing, so something had to give. it has a half inch hole in it, and a slight hole in it from when some retard hit it with an angle grinder. ive got plans for the hole, so id like to put in a fitting so i have an extra port i can use for my catch can, and id like to seal up the slight hole as well. would JB weld adhere to the powder coating that is on my AEM intake?

i also plan to use this piece of piping for my charge piping when i get around to turbocharging my car, so would the JB weld hold up at all?

Yes, just rough up the area with some sand paper.

Haha, thats not from an angle grinder, thats where it rubbed against the frame where it went into the wheel well. That little hole won't make a difference on an N/A engine. You can get a filter at Princess Auto for 10 bucks, I forgot to mention.

^ haha, duct tape... that'd be awesome when it got sucked in your engine :P If you wrapped it with duct tape it'd work great... but only NA. Turbo, I'd go with the brazing...

I used a piece of thin scrap sheetmetal and then jb welded that over the hole after I took out my nitrous nozzle. Worked like a champ.
