i bough this xj600 for $1000. it ran funny so i offered 1k for it... they didnt know why.

turns out the fuel pump was on backwards, i fixed it and now it runs like a champ.

it has a header, and vance and hines muffler. its really loud and pretty slow... i think it has about 60hp... which is only 10 more than my quad...

but its fun to ride and gets 60mpg and i won't have to spend so much $ driving my car everyday to work, and also the saved miles on my car...

the guy put a ex500 (ninja) front end on it for the dual disc brakes... so obviously the front fairing doesn't fit right, but its ok...

the front fairing was a really dull black, and the fender was bright *** white... so i sanded it down and painted them both semi-flat black and it looks 1mill times better...

leeann already smoked me in the camaro... but its fun to ride and handles well, and stops really well also... it sounds like a superbike but it moves like a honda.

 

pretty good deal. get rid of that fairing and just go street fighter style

 

id rather not have the wind blowing me around... i love the windshield lol

I like the naked look on bikes. But for 1000 I'd look around and see what I could sell to buy that.

 

The wind is still going to blow you around...have you riden by semis on the freeway yet? lolz...first time i did that on my f2 it puckered up my butthole pretty good, but i got use to it after a couple times

 

yes i have, and it barely does anything, compared to my 400 honda with no windshield. i about flew off the bike when a semi went past on that pos.

this thing cruises at 65-70mph very nice with hardly any windage and throttle.

i like it a lot.
