car runs great till you floor it... chip ?? tps ??
well i got a new car today. runs great and all but when you try to get on it, it acts funny. you can push it half throttle and it will take off good but if you floor it all the way it stops accelerating as quickly it seems its a 95 dx with a z6 swap (p2
it was turbo'ed at one point before and was chipped. but before i got it the turbo kit was removed and the 550 injectors were taken out. he didnt get a new chip he just "clipped" some wire inside the ecu and said it will make it go back to a stock ecu. i dont know if it puts it into limp mode or what maybe this is the prob i dont know.

He cut the J1 jumper is all. Dude it's hard telling what ecu that car actually came from. It's probably a non vtec p06.
When He cut J1 he turned it back to stock. So your car could be running on a stock d15 sohc whatever rom.
If you can solder and find someone with a burner around you just put j1 back and get a stock map for your z6 burnt to a chip and run off that.
