Autometer boost gauge starts at 5psi and not 0
Ok so just before the dyno i pull my boost gauge i bought about months ago....and find that its set at 5psi. I gave it a little suky suky and its not like its stuck or anything the vac component part works....Im wondering if there is anything i can do to set it back to 0psi or should i just buy a new one??
thanks everyone

remove the light bulb from the back, and take a screw driver and slide it around the metal ring you see in there. it uses magnets for something, and with the metal screwdriver, your able to idk readjust the magnets or something so the needle rests at 0.
i did this when i got my boost gauge, which was at -2in/hg vac.

i had one like that, i belive it was still acurate when there was pressure though, did you compare it to another vac/boost gauge? i ripped mine open anyways and re adjusted it. i just dont buy autometer gauges anymore, i buy these cheap eqous or somthing ones that work better and cost half as much
