Was looking on ebay and saw complete kits for around $1100 with t3/t4......some company called advan_racing. Has anyone dealt with them? I was thinking maybe there kit would be a good starting point.......Any helpful advice is appreciated!

I just can't bring myself to invest in chinese turbo's or wastegate's...those IC's and the piping would be ok in my opinion...and if that manifold is cast iron it'll probaly hold up pretty good too, I would rock the blow off until I had some $$ to invest in something better...like the Apexi TwinChamber that was on my doorstep this afternoon

What about just the turbos themselves? I heard they work fine but the seals wear fast.

 

more like the bushings wear fast, just search in google the word "junk" i'll bet one of those turbo's pop's up.

 

It seems like the wastegates, bov's, and fmic's are ok. Certain manifolds seem to work ok, but for the most part the turbo's themselves are absolute garbage. For the most part you get a 50/50 chance whether the turbo lasts a week or lasts a month. :P
