I've been to the gettdyne website like 3 times, and read the entire web page worth of info !! But I d-loaded the "bin editor" and installed it and it came up with an error message and didn't even open the program...

People say "stand-alone" is better, but really, better for who ?

What about the dude with a MSD BTM, apexi AFC, dsm 450s, and a wide band O2 ? I know how to work and understand all those things, but injector timing adjustments, ignition timing adjustments vs rpm etc... Sounds like it could be pretty dangrous to the average dumbass like me that can't even figure out how to get the software to open up...

Maybe I'll be best off just buying a chip from someone computer smarter than myself ( and I don't mean some jackass off ebay ).

Get the chip maker to let the ECU not trip out over seeing boost, retard timing 1* per PSI and have the maps re-set for dsm 450s. With a chip like that and my AFC I'd think I'd be able to get a pretty good tune...

Maybe one day someone will mod a DSM ECU to run in a honda, preset for boost, timing, injectors, knock sensor and everything else, but still use the factory honda harness and sensor... wow, what a crazy idea..

 

the error message you are getting is probably due to a missing DLL file. Check the ghettodyne website for that error message. I had the message too when I D/L GD to check it out. Mine works good now.

oh man cant figure out how to work the software.. just buy a zdyne if you want something easy. thats what i did and i wish i got ghettodyne. could have saved some cash.

Just saying, why give a miget a 100lbs sword to kill a mouse, when he can do it with a must easier to use dagger.

BTW I think getteodyne is GREAT, but like I said, I'll leave the pc stuff to the PC freaks..

If GhD was $1000 a pop, I GARANTEE it would be easy as pie to use, have tons of R&D testing, tech support, you name it. If you care to share the error, maybe we can help?

Stop complaining, no one is making you use it. And blame yourself for your ignorance, and inability to comprehend basic computing tasks, not the software.
