Ballpark Machine shop costs
I need to get my 350 bored and honed , acid dipped and the general cleaning up of all the bearing surfaces or whatever they do . My neighbor keeps insisting I let his brother do it for me, and says he can get me a "awsome deal" This is comming from the guy that "raced with richard petty" and other oddities... Can anyone throw me a rough figure so I can tell if hes trying to take me over again? Thanks .

Pick a good machinist, and when he say how much it costs just say, "Yes, sir," and unlimber your wallet. They like that, if they overcharged you the first time for being a Honduh punk the next time around the price is reasonable because you proved yourself not to be a punk.
