changes,my build,painted VC,random stuff *PICS*
Well after my 2 week "vacation" i figured that it was time to get my build done, get the car on a dyno and be done with it.
April 12-22nd i will be on Pre-Deployment Leave and i want to get it done during that time frame. so for that il be in SW Wa.
Picked up the crank from the machine shop, its polished etc now. painted my VC white drunk and bored2 weekends ago when i was home.
Only thing i am waiting on now is lower gasket set, oil pump,water pump and measuring everything to order bearings.
does ANYONE work or know someone that works at honda so mabey i could get a employee discount or something for my water and oil pump and gasket kit? I know, im a cheap ***.
Let me know if someone does, i need to get this build done so hopefully i can put another 400+whp car back on the street with a hmt sticker on it.
i put my type r VC on my buddys gsr, and took his black one and stripped it then painted it. heres some pics

his black VC before stripping, i just used some Aircraft paint stripper from schucks
DUring stripping
Finished product, looks better in person than in pics, Used high temp (1200*) engine enamel
SOme might ask why, honostly, just wanted it to be different. no real reason, was drinking PBR and had an idea so i drove to shucks and got paint.
