Default 98 olds bravada... should I buy it?

My roommate will sell it to me for $500. I have yet to see it, but apparently its in pretty nice condition, and the tranny was recently rebuilt. It has 194k on it but mostly highway cuz his dad drove it an hour to and from work everyday, and a mechanic told him that he will need a head gasket in the next 10 to 20k miles . He said he's had nothing but problems with it, but he's sort of a moron and has to pay shops to fix everything. I've been reading reviews and besides trannies failing, there isn't really any other major problems. Some electrical problems w/climate control and wipers n ----, but most of the other stuff is basic maintenance from what I see.

Any experiences? I wouldn't be buying it to keep it, I plan on doing any minor work it needs and turning around and selling it for mad profit yo. What you think?

I'm in full agreement. But thats why I'd resell it a week after I got it. You can't tell me some negger wouldn't pay at least $3k for an suv with chrome wheels, nice speakers, and a leather interior

Suspension sucks, Oil/trans cooler lines leak, front diffs like to make loud noises, Its a GM V6 so the Intake leaks. But theirs no way his mechanic can tell its going to blow a HG in how ever many miles, id say look it over reall good clean it up and sell it ASAP.
