Default stock retainers

ok so am putting in stage II crower camshafts with dual crower valve springs on my LS head but my question is can i use my stock retainers

i asked the same question on Honda-tech and they said that with most valvetrain setups you can use the stock valve retainers. but you will also have the added wieght over the Ti units, so you wont be able to rev the motor as high as with the Ti units. also they said to make sure you have clearance between the retainer and the valve guide.

i will be running stock retainers on my turbo B16A... i have only seen valve retainers fail from the valve floating, with the aftermarket springs you should eliminate that...
