Canada +1 ehhh...
so who watch the new PINKS last night?
it was a vary close race between a USA turbo small block malibu on 5 psi vs canadaian 454 bigblock camaro
it was back and forth the whole race but the canadians won it on the last race b/c the malibu bogged..but good episode...

It was apparent that the frenchies brought a knife to a gun fight. They just had a naturally aspirated big block with a carburator and no nitrous. The 79 malibu was a small block with fuel injection and a 91.5mm precision turbo. I believe the hp figures were 1100 hp. They ran a 9.05 letting off at the 1000 ft mark at 24 lbs of boost. It was upsetting to see that for the episode, they were only limited to 5lbs of boost.

Gay. That Malibu (on full boost) would launch, and then like 100 or so feet out the gate lift its wheels in the air when run how it was built to be run. The Camaro driver was cocky as hell toward the end too, dont get me wrong... It was REALLLLLY clean... But as far as who should have won, that Red shitbox should have been staying in WA.
