so i have the oppurtunity to basically get a 14b which is in great condition. i currently have a t25 on my setup and want to know if my downpipe, oil lines and what not would all work with this 14b. from what i hear the 14b is a way better turbo. i was looking at it and it seems to have the same downpipe bolt pattern.

 

Downpipe bolt pattern is the same for both turbos. Cold side is different design though, so you'll have to redo your charge pipes a little.

 

yea i know the chargepipe issue. just wondering about downpipe and manifold

 

You'll need a m12x1.25 fitting for the oil inlet, and a new drain flange (38mm from center to center) on the mounting bolt holes. Your T25 has a 7/16 inverted flare oil fitting and a 44mm drain flange.

With those changes, I'd rather jump right to (at least) the 42/48 T3.

 

Good info on the oil lines...forgot all about that. Depending on the trim of the t3 though a 14b might even be larger.
