Will any D16 intake manifold fit on a dohc ZC?

 

NO!!! there isnt an intake that fits the dohc zc head except for the 88-89 teg ones but they are 30% smaller than the stock zc one so you would have to port the ---- out of it to even make a stock zc mani. just build your own unless your just looking for a name brand one to use as a conversation piece to your friends about how JaYdM you are..

 

we are in the process of building an adapter to mount sohc manifolds to the dohc zc head

 

i hear zcspeed makes an adapter but i dont know how far back it sets the mani..(firewall clearance wise) the adapter would only be what like 3/8 maybe 1/2"

 

zcspeed does, Im getting it finished and seeing if I can even make money selling them. I have some other cool zc stuff comin out too made old school love bringin it back

 

that would be great you shoould hit me up when the designs are done i woul dlike to see whats up and possibly try some ---- out...

BTW you want that y7 exh. mani i pulled the head off the motor yesterday so all i need to do is unbolt it the rest of the way

 

The 86-87 D16A1 will work with a few holes drilled.
The D16A8 and D16A9 will work also.
