Here is the deal guys. I am getting killed on the track with my b18 YS1 tranny that came out of a LS. What I need by this week is a different gear box. The tranny I need to try is the 1.7 gsr, and a couple JDM spec models. I would perfer a non LSD diff because we weld them up anyways. If you are in MN or can ship one to me please contact me very soon. About 6 days until my next race.

question how do you weld up whatever to make it like a lsd?

 

its not streetable unless you can becnh 800 lbs

 

Welding the spider gears is super easy. Take it apart, find what moves and weld it. It doesn't work at all like a LSD. It works like a spool.

This sucks for street driving, I hate even loading it on the trailer in a dry lot. But on the ice it works great!!!

Someone find me a tranny.

Like I have the budget to go out and buy a video camera. Every weekend racing gets to be more and more money. My main battle on the track is a 06 wrx. I am rocking a 84 honda, so with that said I have to spend more money on the car. My weekly budget is like this.
100 gas for the truck
175 race fuel for the car
150 event fees
100 hotel
50 food
400 tires
50 on oil for car and truck
X broken parts and mods

Last week I spent 400 on shipping charges to build my motor.
