It has a recessed round center on a standard T3 flange. You can have the flange machined flat OR I believe a CRX(?) exhaust gasket will fit it, but I just had mine planed down flat.

yeah if you give the machine shop just the housing or the flange, they'll throw that ---- up in a milling machine and take it down for you. just as long as taking the recess off doesn't leave the flange too thin.

yeah grinding it all the way down to remove that stupid recess makes the flange pretty thin.
I usually weld up the recess and grind the excess. THat way at least, the turbo remains of STANDARD dimensions.

Good point, but I have a LOT of flange left. I'll see if I can find a picture but it's probably around 1/2 inch.

Done, i use the thunderbird hotside i already use on my actual setup, was a .48, but i put the compresor side from the volvo, and also put the exhaust housing from the volvo one, so now i can make a nice downpipe, remember the thunderbird exhaust housing was a bitch to make some downpipe, jejeje.

Thanks!
