why use 512 ?

Default why use 512 ?

if the 256 eprom is good for p28 why ppl use the 512 ?

You can run two maps, you just have to program the two different parts of the chip.

Yeah seriously, I've never heard of this, you can run two maps off one 512 chip? can someone link to some more info?

most bins are like 32kb right ? couldnt you run 2 on a 256 ?

I just checked how the code sits in a bin file on my hex editor...it pretty much starts at 0000 and ends at 7220 for a boost bin. After that all that's left is from 7220 to 7ff0 for code space...not enough for another map. I'm pretty sure the 256's are limited to 32kb, and the 512's can do 64kb.
