How can there be a tax on something illeagle?

 

IF you get busted, on top of fines and jail time(depending on what u get busted with), you pay a tax on the quantity of drugs you posess..yeah its stupid

 

I've always said the only reason drugs are illegal is because the govt. can't tax them...

Yes i understand the concept of the whole deal. But i dont see how they can get away with taxing it. If they can put a tax on "pot" like that than why dont they just legalise it? And sell it the same way beer is sold.

the only reason they dont legalize pot...is because they cant control it..if they cant control it, they cant tax it all..look how much pot there is in the US..
