this laptop needs a new hard drive. there $50 new on newegg.com

otherwise its great. this was a business class laptop went for $2k new. asking $340 picked up or plus actual shipping

Probably means to POST then dies off would be my guess

 

ya it powers on, it will go into the bios, you can even run the system with a live cd, but if you try to boot to the hard drive it says failure, because the hard drive is dead.
