I'm looking to buy a fairly decently built D16. I'm located in Wyoming. I want to swap out my D15 with the D16 and then turbo it. Any help would be great!

boost the d15, then buy a z6.

 

I would love to do that, but I dont think the D15 would even take 5 PSI! haha She's in rough shape... I drove it home(700miles) and she burned about 7 quarts of oil! I've added a lot of Lucas and its stopped burning a lot... I'm just pretty sure she'd dissagree with boost!

 

hmm. i guess it depends on the motor. mine held 10 psi @ 145000 miles and over 10:1 compression (z6 head)... its alot of fun, especially if you are tossing the motor anyways. i just threw wayy too much advance at it. its all in the tune.

I mean I would love to turbo it as it is until I get the new engine and all because all parts would just swap over. I might and see what happens... if it blows.... it blows! oh well! lol
