Default ASKING about ECU compatible

can a 1.6 vtec sohc , automatic,ECU be put in a 1.6 vtec sohc manual trans need help

Yeah, check out hondatas' websight. I did the convertion myself on my P30, OBD1 ECU. The spot is REALLY tiny that you need to get to , but once I found the thing it worked great. Now that I looked again, I'm not sure if it will work on your ECU, but I think thier sight shows what ECU's it will work for...hope I could help

Automagic OBD1 P28 and manual tranny P28 run the same code in the ECU. The ECU tells the code what the car's hardware/mechanical configuration is with some jumper settings. If you remove RP17 and jumper RP18, located right below the silkscreen for the 27256 EPROM, then your automagic ECU is now manual.

OBD2 guys, well, you asked to be fucked when you bought OBD2.
