Just found out I won an evo 4 16g off egay, I put in a bid of $150 and won without realising. Just got to buy a welder and an intercooler now. I'm getting all excited, got a few months off work so the civic will finally get the boost it deserves.

She does have rather large nip's.

Its going on my stock z6 for a bit, then once that blows i'm moving over to the EDM equivalent of a gsr motor (we never got the LS)

 

The turbo i've bought is actually one from an evo5 so it has the gay split scroll flange. It also has the 10.5 compressor housing. Does anyone know who sells suitable flanges and is the big compressor housing going to cause me problems?

This is the ad from ebay. The turbine housing is the big bastard. I'm thinking about pissing around with the split scroll and maybe blocking a port off. My housemates dad is a tool maker so i can always ask him to make me a flange. But i'd prefer to just buy one really.

Not sure if many places make those one off Evo flanges. Hell RRE or AMS don't even stock them and their like the Mitsu specialist. Just have you roomy's dad make one up for you. If you decide to get rid of it let me know. I'll take it off your hand.

 

I'm waiting on a few places to get back to me, the flange sure as hell isn't standard. You can buy the turbo off me if you want it, but i'm on the other side of the pond (britain) so its not even worth it.

The other arsehole is the turbo is backwards, so making a manifold is going to be even more of a pain. I might sell it as i paid under the odds, they go for more like $300 over here (where everything is more expensive).
