My freind just got done welding a top mount for my d

its .065" and from http://store.racing-solutions.org/index.html i'm confident that it will not break.

it looks like 1.5" od tube, kinda small. he could have saved a lot of welding if he had used 180 degree bends.... a lot of work for that turbo. i would have put a t3 on it atleast.

1 5/8" dia tubing
this is my first turbo project so i went with a cheap td04l from a wrx if it turns out too be small of a turbo i could always cut the flange off and weld another on there

i agree. one week. you should be using .125 maybe somthing i tad thinner but deffinetly not .065 anything

my 1.75" 16g tube manifold has held up fine but i added some support gussets. also my turbo might be a bit heavier and my setup isn't internal wg'd.
