Default Charge pipe to Turbo?

How do you guys normally hook the charge pipe to the turbo? Do you all buy flanges for the turbo outlet? From the looks of the Turbo Projects section it seems that they just put a rubber sleeve over the outlet and clamp it tight.

dont pay attention to 45 psi. those "Rubber looking thinga ma bobs" are silicone connectors. People use them to connect charge pipe to charge pipe, compressor housing to charge pipe and so on. People sometimes use rubber connectors from like home depot or ACE but I dont really recomend it....they suck. For your purposes of connecting the compressor housing to the charge pipes you will probably need an adapter connector, in other words one side is bigger than the other. Ex. if your charge pipes are 2.5" in diameter and the outlet on the comptessor housing is 1.75" you will need a connector with the appropriate diameters on each side to make the connection. hope that explains everything. good luck.

Just any rubber silicone connector will work fine, I just double hose clamp the ---- out of them and they never come off. Trust me, after the heat hits the silicone a few times, it practically molds to the compressor, and it wont come off, just like all the charge pipes. Napa has a good selection of rubber hose.

With radiator hoses being as flexible as they are, would this be a good idea rather than going through the hasle of hacking away at mandrel bends to get the right fit?

my charge pipes are embarase me :-), I got a hack job of probe/dsm/exhaust/heater pipes I also have a real ghetto exhaust reducer :-). I used electrical tape on all the metal parts so it doesnt look as horrible.
