hey,

anyone ever had experience with the nissan NATS alarm system?

mine has decided to take a ---- on me and stop working, whilst it was armed, so i cant un arm it,

i only have the one fob and its not the master, so im fucked there, so basically i think i need to remove it,

i disconnected the siren and drove home with the hazards goin off,

------- well annoyed!!!

any help is appreciated!

its fitted to a 200sx s14a, with an SR20DET engine,

Drive it like you stole it. Just pull the horn fuse and beat everyone your at a stoplight with. Flashers FTW!!

 

I've only worked with the newer NATS, but I flipped through the diagram of a 95 240sx NATS and it is fairly simple. Look at your manual, every input is a ground signal, as is every output except the starter cut function, which just interupts power to the relay. Get your manual, all you need to do is unplug it and jump two wires.

 

i got it sorted, turns out the fob had turned itself off, just had to reset it,

but i do intend on ripping the ****** out,

i had a quick look at the manual, and its tied in with the ECU, so i dunno how simple its gona be to rip it out,

 

Let hotrex borrow your car, he'll burn the ****** to the ground. :1 No alarm problem after that.
