Default Car doesn't want to start after headgasket change

in my ka24de-t 240sx I popped a headgasket. I changed it up and I was trying to start it today. It turns over but shows no signs of starting.

I pulled the plugs and they had some fuel on them so the injectors are going
I have spark all the way at the spark plug
The distributor points right to cyl#1 at TDC and my cam timing is correct.

Someone said that with motorcycles at least they put a dab of oil in the cylinders to help the rings seal because the cylinders can dry up and lose a bit of compresson.

any other ideas? I'm ------- confused

its always timing. no matter what if you have spark and fuel then its the timing.
pull the belt set the crank then the head again

not necessarily, the cam and crank sensors will cause it not to start, plus i think the ka has a timng chain not a belt

Did you reconnect all wires to the distributor and coil properly?
Did you tighten the distributor properly?
Check your fuses.

sorry but that's the biggest load of horseshit i've ever heard. Besides, you really think that oil is going to rob you of about 150psi of compression? Most cars can still pop or fire with 50-70 psi

How do you figure? He's not saying it's robbing him of compression. I've noticed HUGE jumps in comression after adding oil to the cylinder......of course that's not usually a good sign.
