Default Has anyone had bad experience with 450 DSM Injectors?

I've heard from a few people that DSM's are gay and it's better to just go with some RC 440's. Has anyone had trouble with the DSM's

What would be the "problems" that people say they have? I've been running them for months at 10psi, and they're working great.

I'd probably chalk that up to the "I've heard..." bullshit that floats around the net.

That's just because Hondata was designed with RC injectors. It doesn't mean the DSM's are bad. I would say for a Hondata system RC injectors would be better, but other than that the DSM's are fine.

Fact: My 450cc run perfect, starting, hot starts, idle, etc...

I heard: That some of the 450's out there are a little higher in the OHM's deptartment, causing problems. Mine are 3.1-3.3 ohms, seeing how the spec for stock injectors is like 2-2.5ish I could see how getting a set of blue tops that was higher than say 4-ohm's(ish) might cause problems.

I would like for you to explain to everyone, how Honda, which does nothing but modify the injector pulse duration, which is nothing more than a value in a table store in the memory of a chip, would be able to differentiate between injectors.

If the ECU can pulse the injectors correctly, Hondata will not know what injectors you're using. RC, DSM, stock, or whatever, Hondata doesn't communicate with the injector, the ECU does.
