Default Flatrate rebuild break in period????

I was trying to rebuild the block that was in the car, but the cylinders and the pistons were too fucked up, so the new rings i installed didnt seal properly. SO i tore that bitch apart, bought an A6 on ebay for a buck it had been sitting in a garage for about a year, and droped in some pg6 pistons and rods, and the previously installed rings, finally got that bitch running tonight, drove it around the block, you know the typical, speed up, slow down thing, to load up the rings,

My question is, i pretty much took the engine apart, cleaned everything, slapped it back together exactly the way i found it,

Do i have to drive it slowly for the first 500miles, or just drive that bitch to work tommorow (30miles) and consider that bitch broken in?

since you reused the pistons and rods, just break in the rings doing 4-5 runs from 30-60mph and you should be set. Try to drive it normal for atleast a couple of hundred miles just for assurance. Good luck

well its been 600 miles already, car runs like a champ, no smoke, no leaks.

i was having issues with the stock ecu, it was cutting out after about 5000rpm, so i chipped it to a pm7 program and it cleared it right up.

I want to turbo it but i think 11:1 compression might be too high, or not. hopefully it can handle 9psi
