Oxy/Acetelyn Welding??

anyone ever use oxy/acetelyn for makin manifolds or welding muffler pipes together??

I have spent a ton of time with type of welding. It sucks and I wouldn't like to do it anymore. But if it's what you got and you are good with it, use it.

I was badass with oxy/fuel when I was in high school, but I haven't really used it much since. If it's what you got, use it. I always got good penetration, if you're decent at it you should be fine.

It's an old technology...but works. It's like a bicycle...it will get you where you want to go, but is much more limited than newer technologies.

MIG beats the ---- out of oxy-acet.
