Default JB Weld

Just how strong does this stuff bond metals together, I have a little side project where I need to bond 2 pipes together and I was wondering how well this would work ? Thanks.

What the application of these 2 joined pipes?

Exactly. If it's load-bearing, I probly wouldn't opt for JB Weld, depending on how important the peice is, etc etc. Also, what material are the pipes of?
