SOHC ZC Non-VTEC, What headgasket?

SOHC ZC Non-VTEC, What headgasket?

Can I just use a metal z6 gasket?

If not, which one should I use?

A z6 or y8 one will work. A y8 one will raise compression slightly.

how's that? they're the same unless you manage to find a 2-layer y8 gasket.

the z6/y8 mls will be fine. If you have the zc with the composite gasket like the A6, the c/r will go up a little.

Oops I thought the z6 was still like the old style a6 one. Sorry im a noob at this :1

stock is .047 i believe, z6 is a bit thinner but will work

I don't really care about the compression effect.

My only real mission with this car is to commute.

Its a D16A6 so go to pepboys and grab a 19.99 special headgasket for a 88-91 Civic/CRX

ya there's a OEM Honda number thats a METAL gasket for the A6... the pic's at home, i'll post it up later.

don't bother, i changed the headgasket two days ago.
