like the its says has anyone uesd delta cams? im building a b18a1 for my 88 ef hatch and want to know if anyones delt with delta in a ls. i searched but nuthin came up.

 

i think JK MOTORSPORTS uses them in his daul cam zc hatch you could find him and look at his sig. im pretty sure he does probably some others on here aswell me personally i use exospeed i have there stage 2 grinds in my zc.

 

Ive got a delta 272 in my a6
everyone said it was unstreetable but i got my car to idle just perfect on a 3 bar and it barely bounces at all @ 600 rpm

The power I cant really comment on as I never tried the stock cam first, started straight with the delta. 15psi feels good though

 

Yep had the same cam in my a6. Took it out when I had boosted it though becuase it was trouble enough getting it to idle normally once i put the kit on. Planning on getting a set for my LS soon. The guys over there are cool to deal with and for the price its worth a shot, if you dont like, sell em to some ricer and call em Crower stage 12's

thanks, for a built ls turbo set up is a 272 a good lift? and for both cams? i dont know a lot about cam lifts so anything can help, thanks

 

272 you are reading to many magazines. you can purchase a turbo profile cam from whoever you decide to go with or ask them what profile would be good for turbo. me personally i like my exospeeds due to the fact they pick up right from idle and my turbo spools about 23-2500 which results in very minimal lag if any at all, most people say stick with the stock cam,but if you can upgrade it will help. also depending on what profile you go with if you plan or are boosted sometimes it can be hard to get everything to work together or idle properly. but before you go making a decision this is just my .02 cents and see what other people have to say.
