Default WTB: Garrett GT series ball bearing turbo

I have finally decided on a turbo for one of my cars. Since it's my daily driver I need something with a quick spool, and ball bearing is where it's at IMO. I'm specifically interested in a gt17-gt28r. If you have one and would like to sell it for a reasonable price, please pm me ASAP before I spend my $ on something else. Thank-you.

Oh yes sir I was watching that one, I wasn't home when it ended and now I'm pissed as ------- hell that I wasn't. I would have paid a bit more for it. I have a guy who's willing to sell me a GT28r (disco potato baby!) for $625 and I may go for it. We'll see. Thanks for the info both of you.

Ebay link is dead, but I've never seen a real garrett GT28-series on ebay.

The GT28R is not the "disco potato". The GT28RS is.. there is a substantial difference.

GT2876R (aka GT25R) which uses a T-04S compressor with a T-28 turbine (similar to GTiR). It has a polished compressor housing & ceramic coated turbine housing & HKS actuator, used by a buddy of mine for approx. 15,000 Km.
