My car has been burning oil ever since i rebuilt my engine. I drove it for 4 000 miles and still the same. If rings not sit properly can i do the hone and reuse the rings ? or i need to by another set?

you need to get another set. if they didnt set right in 200 to 500 miles they wont and that would explain the oil burning

 

If you didn't hone it on the first rebuild, that'll explain why it burned oil. Also make sure you have the rings alinged properly. Regardless you're going to have to pull it apart and rehone and replace the rings with new ones. Are you positive it's the rings?
