Default T3 Thunderbird Turbo Oil Feed Line Question...

hey guys,
Just bought the stealthmode oil line kit. The problem is, the oil feed line on the turbo is not threaded. Is there an adapter, do I need to tap it, or am I doing something wrong? This is the older thunderbird turbo's, t3 (.60/.4.
If I do need to tap it, is tapping cast iron any different from taping other metals? Also, how would I get the shavings out from there if I had to tap it? Would compressed air work or would I have to take apart the whole turbo?

if you don't want to dick around with it you can get inlet flanges off ebay

You would have to disassemble the turbo and wash out the shavings (it's not rocket science ). This process could turn out to be a PITA. Function7 on e-Bay ftw (see link above).

FYI...Good seller. I'm using his oil restrictor and I am very happy with it. Good quality product.

i guess i'm going to do it lazy man style. Imma shove a paper towel down the hole and then blow out what i can with compressed air. Is it ok to use the same tap if I'm going to be taping aluminum right before that? Or will it contaminate it?
