Heh, call me high class, but I want mine in a pretty box that is static guarded instead of open PCB laying atop my heat ridden computer on a peice of bubble wrap.. ASM!!!

Naw, Batronix one is supposed to be OK, $75 for the burner then another $25 for the software? Eh, it's $50 cheaper than the Xtronics Pocket Programmer 2, that I use. Which works great also. Personal preference it seems.

thats the epromer5 from www.ustr.net

i just got mine and it works great. i won mine from their auction on ebay as you save like 20 bucks for the epromer5, 3ft parallel cable, and 7v ac adapter. came out to like 99$ shipped. great quality and its tested 3 times before shipment. looks much more professional than the batronix, and is of course shipped from florida and not germany. it has little rubber feet on the bottom, but i think im gonna pickup a little project box from radio shack.

btw, i previously got a homemade programmer using the willem.org schematics and software. i had so many problems with the thing so luckily the seller gave me a refund.
