So ya. Got this tig with no instructions on how to add the plug (240v)

they of course did not use any standard that i know of for wire colour

I have a Blue a [b]Brown and a Yellow with a Green stripe (would guess at the being ground)

The blue and brown are your 220. So each side is hot. The Yellow with the green stripe is ground.
