Default First night at the track(Updated 8-24)

First time taking the Cobalt to the track and first time ever actually running something at the track. Crested 1,800 miles on the way home so I still don't have much seat time with the car but here is how the night went.

1st run
1/8- 10.0790 at 71.89
1/4- 15.4720 at 92.76

2nd run
1/8- 10.1769 at 73.39
1/4- 15.5498 at 93.36

3rd run
Sprayed VHT a few cars before me, everyone for about 15 runs slowed. Weird
1/8- 11.0846 at 69.46
1/4- 16.6095 at 91.33

4th run
Jeff "Hotshoe'ing" for me, he really is a better driver
1/8- 10.0671 at 72.33
1/4- 15.4530 at 92.59

5th run
Coolant finally lowered temp to about 185, had been 210+ rest of the night
1/8- 9.8161 at 73.52
1/4- 15.1020 at 94.33

I'm still learning to drive the car, not much of a drag driver anyways obviously. Fun night out though!

its the ss supercharged. Traps should be about 1-2mph higher, but other than that you just need to learn on launching her it looks like. Those cars are not easy to launch at all. They wheelhop like a mother ******, but there are tq braces all around that will cure that. Keeping it, or still selling?

I run similar times in my 1988 dodge shadow automatic, and .5 seconds quicker in the 1/8th. thats also with under $1800 including purchase price how much do those cobalts cost?

Yeah, most places say 14.4 at 100 is where they should be. Guess I'm keeping it, couldn't find a true buyer. Just have to pick up the overtime until I get other things paid off.
