Default would this cause any damage?

My friend was going down the highway at about 60mph and his timing belt broke. He has a 1.5 honda w/ a d15b2 I was wondering if that would cause any damage to the engine at all. I know this has nothing to do with turbos, but i would rather post it here and get an honest answer wrather then posting on honda-tech and get a wrong answer or no answer at all.

thanks,
drew

I hate to have to break it to you, but the timing belt is broken.

LS claims interference, will knock carbon off valves/pistons, but no bendage in 8 cars.
